FAQs

I want to offer yoga sessions to my employees but we don’t have much time. How can we still get the best of it?

I offer 30 minutes desk yoga sessions (Business Yoga) where the participants don’t have to change into yoga/sport clothes and don’t need yoga mats. Their normal clothes as long as they allow free movement are just fine. I make the sessions suitable for everyone and the only requirement is to have internet connection! 30 minutes of some spinal movement, breathing awareness and relaxation makes a huge difference if everyone’s day. These sessions are becoming very popular among corporations as they are experiencing the benefits straight away.

What is the best time for a yoga session?

The most popular timing among corporations is first thing in the morning or during lunch time. Both times are really beneficial so I would recommend to try both and ask your employees what they prefer.

What is the best package, course, or sessions for my corporation?

That will depend on your particular needs and workforce. We can discuss it during the consultation call and the package will be designed according to your corporation needs and budget.

Where can the sessions be held?

Due to the current situation all the sessions are run via zoom. Once we are able to gather again, the sessions can be held at your premises or I can provide a sustainable venue for you. It is worth bearing in mind that the company will benefit from this sessions as a whole which will outweigh any perceived disadvantage of having a venue allocated for the sessions each week or month

Will participants need to bring equipment and change of clothes?

That will depend on the kind of session you book:

Business Yoga (30 minutes’ sessions): In these sessions not equipment or yoga clothes are needed. Normal clothes that allow free moment are totally fine.

Corporate Yoga (60 minutes’ sessions): In these sessions yoga/sport clothes and yoga mats are recommended.

Meditation sessions: No special equipment or clothes are needed as we will do the practice sat on a chair.

Some of the participant might have not done yoga before. Can they still benefit from the sessions?

Yes. All the sessions are tailor made to the participants each time and suitable for complete beginners.

I am not flexible. Can I still do yoga?

Absolutely yes. Yoga has nothing to do with flexibility (regardless of what sometimes seems in social media!), we start where we are, and the sessions will be tailor made for you!

I have never meditated before. Which of your courses is more appropriate for beginners?

The main difference between the two courses (Mindfulness for Wellbeing & Mindfulness for Insight) is the intention behind the practice. So ask yourself this question: Why do I want to meditate? If what you are ONLY looking for is an improvement in your health then the Mindfulness for Wellbeing course is for you. If you are going after something else, if you are looking for insight and the realisation of your true nature then the Mindfulness for Insight course is for you.

Can I just book one off meditation session?

Yes, of course you can. I will explain you the mindfulness approach in our first session, guide you through a meditation and we will have some time for questions you might have. Then you can decide if you want to go ahead and book another session.

I have done the Mindfulness for Wellbeing course already, can I still benefit fully from the Mindfulness for Insight course?

Absolutely yes. This is actually the best way to do it. During the Mindfulness for Insight course we go deeper into the practice and introduce new meditation and mindfulness techniques. Having a good foundation after the Mindfulness for Wellbeing course you will be in a better place to really go deeper into your practice.
